Hot, Sexy, Stylish and Comfortable – Esprit has a balance of it all. Following Esprit Ladies,Esprit lands in Singapore with EDC men. Launched last month in Singapore, this store could be one of a guy’s dream ward-robe. Inspired by urbanity, music and pop culture, with a relaxed touch, Esprit EDC Men is targeted at fashion oriented youth-men ages 16-25. The store itself is garnished in wooden floors with sparkling lights so everyone doesn’t miss a glimpse of the latest products available, all of which are actually worth looking at. But stores don’t always come in first, don’t they? Let’s have a look at the rating of Esprit EDC Men Clothing by rating the 4 categories.

Trend Factor: 9.5 / 10 - As I stepped inside the Esprit store in Marina Square, I knew exactly what I wanted – practically everything! Esprit EDC Men has a perfect line of relaxed yet cool-looking jeans, trendy Bermudas, eye-catching blazers, retro shirts, funky accessories, you name it! Each piece of clothing possesses a theme, which consists of vibrant colors which blend with the piece.

Esprit plays great attention to bold stitching and prints in T-shirts and washes and cuts in jeans. Having simple t-shirt designs which start at SGD 15.90 and SGD 19.90, and more sophisticated designs priced at SGD 39.90, these t-shirts are on par with the urban style today.

Lots of Urban T-Shirts which blend style and culture into it. Who could resist buying these?!

esprit3.jpgPracticality Factor: 6.5 / 10 – Funky t-shirts, jeans and jackets do have to come with the final touches – sunglasses, belts and shoes. Unfortunately, Esprit gives a bad impression since these products look half-baked. This is acceptable because the Esprit’s men product line is still emerging. However, they have a lot do to in creating more fashionable accessories. There is a potential that Esprit can match belts to those of Guess, since currently they are just plain boring. Designs are monotonous and these apply to their wallets, caps, and shoes.

Longevity Factor: 8.5 / 10 - Although Esprit’s line of clothing in Asia comes mainly from Hong Kong, avoid the impression of lousy quality. With relaxed and comfortable designs, Esprit also offers non-fading materials. Their t-shirts definitely do not wear and tear easily, and excessive shrinking is something you shouldn’t be worrying about.

Wow Factor: 8/10 – The foundation of Esprit Men’s clothing can be given a thumbs up, due to their quality, their link to the various influences of pop and urban culture, and their rational prices. Esprit clothing is definitely a man’s best friend, but it is surely not a store where you can rely your whole ward-robe on. Overall, it delivers one of the best lines of urban-relaxed clothing and is above average in all aspects.
